 Hi! My name is Anders. I started A Pixel Apart Ltd in 2006. I saw a need, both here in Colchester and all over the Internet, for a web design company that combines great design with solid business and marketing strategy.
My aim is to run and promote A Pixel Apart Ltd as just that company. I want to offer our clients web design and Internet marketing that captures the spirit of the client AND their target markets. A Pixel Apart Ltd is a Web Design and Internet Marketing company based in Colchester, Essex, UK.
Our business model is slightly different from most companies. Rather than investing in fancy offices or a lot of administrative staff, we form part of an international network of professionals. This allows us to expand and contract our organisation as needed. Our aim is to provide the best possible service and contact locally while offering state of the art production globally. Operating in this way we are able to keep both overhead costs AND production time to a minimum without compromising what's most important: The Quality of Our Service! We believe that there is a lot more to Web Design than well, Web Design! A good web page does not just look good. It also does good. There are many examples of sites that look good but that do not deliver what the site is intended to deliver. There are also a lot of sites out there with complex coding behind that may be too complicated for people to use, or they may simply look awful. Another problem is when web design is handled in-house by people that have neither programming nor design knowledge. These sites often fail both in design, usability and realisation of the intended purpose. We believe that there designing a site is one half of the job, the other is marketing it! Designing a brilliant site is all well and good... but if no one knows is out there it is like building a huge billboard, putting it in your basement and turning off the lights. A site will only work if people actually visit it and it will only work well if you know who are visiting it and what they are looking to get out of your site. We know how to make that happen! We believe that creating the site is the first step but that the march is a long one! A web page that does not change with the organisation, the clients or the times will not be popular.
